But a few in an ocean of sastric reference...

What would we be without some journals in astrology :  https://www.journalofastrology.com/

In the olden days, long long time ago, there where no books since people still had decent memory and would learn their trade by oral transmission only. Have a go yourself at the gurukul technique, by listening only and visualising the horoscope(s). Lots of fun and you'll make an old man very happy, at least in trying... Hé, i'm not a shrutidhara either, so aren't we lucky to have the following matchless gifts in the form of sound & the written word.

Amongst others:

"Astrology, Destiny & the Wheel of Time" Part 1 of 16 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEafzZD2x0w

"Jaimini Astrology"-- Part 1 of 15 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dS9_kje6Ejc

"Simple Jaimini Methods for Predicting Major Life Events" - Part 1/3 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFNlt9Jk19Y

"Birth Time Rectification Using Divisional Charts" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QSmj_b64b0

"Do not despair, the books are there", already for several thousands of years, starting with Srila Vyasadeva, and the somewhat newer editions, courteously revised by next generation courtiers.

Although not my cup of tea, Amazon is, also for the above mentioned, the place to be. Otherwise, check out following websites:
